Mama to two perfectly wild little girls, wife to a kind hardworking husband, and dog Mom to the sweetest pitty mix you ever did meet.

​You'll find me with my nose in a book, on a nature walk with my girls, or baking something from scratch (usually when I already feel just a little bit overwhelmed). I love crying at a good sunset, telling you "I have a tincture for that", enjoying a little "sweet treat" to end the day, and making meal plans that I don't follow.

My biggest transformation and growth in life so far came with my journey into Motherhood. Becoming a mother stretched me to my edges and past, pushed my into my depths and then deeper still. Motherhood has been my greatest school and my greatest opportunity for healing.

The name Forest Tides represents the oceanic depths of a woman's experience and the capacity to grow slowly and stand steadily to hold it all.
